Gran Turismo 6 gameplay from the first race in the International B British Lightweight series.
The first race takes us to the road circuit in Madrid and I'm driving the little Lotus Elise Racing Car which I thought would be a great choice for this competition.
In reality, I found these races to be some of the most difficult in career mode so far. My first attempt in the unmodified car didn't go too well as it was underpowered and just didn't have the pace to catch the leading Rocket. After a bit of a power increase it was better but whether it was the car, the setup, or just me, these races were all pretty close at the end.
The little Elise is good but extremely twitchy due to its light weight and FR configuration so I was having to be really gentle with my throttle and steering input to avoid spinning her out. It doesn't look that bad in the recording but it was definitely hampering my speed.
